Sponsor A Tree (March 31, 2010)
The parish Council is looking for local families who would be interested in sponsoring a tree. We are looking to plant around 10 trees in public places this Autumn please contact the clerk for more details.
 
Is there a footpath you walk on a regular basis? Would you be interested in adopting a section and just reporting any problems associated with that section. Please contact the clerk for more information.

MONKMEAD WOOD

VOLUNTEERS  
 
 
Meeting on the 3rd Sunday of the month (weather permitting of course, but the more hardy ones tend to wrap up warm and brave the rain if it's not too heavy !).
 
MWVG is a small group of friends, neighbours and interested parties who get together to carry out light, varied seasonal conservation work in Monkmead Wood's.
 
Nothing too strenuous and if you like cutting down branches, helping to clear river banks or pulling a few sapplings, you'll have a lot of fun.
