West Chiltington Parish Council
ORGANISATION
The full Council meets every two months (January, March,
May, July, September, November) on the second Tuesday of the month.
The Council has three subcommittees: Planning, Open
Spaces, and Finance.
The Planning sub-committee meets to consider all Planning
Applications in the Parish. After each meeting of this sub-committee its
views are sent to Horsham District Council as part of its consultation
process.
The Open Spaces committee meets only when a meeting is
required. It considers all issues relating to property owned or managed by
the Council, and issues relating to the infrastructure of the Parish.
The Finance committee usually meets once per year to
prepare a budget and recommend a precept for the following financial
year.
